Associate. Employment lawyer. Texas Aggie.
Jordan A. Kennington is an associate at Doyle Dennis Avery LLP, supporting the firm’s worker-side practice in employment law, retaliation, wrongful termination, and personal injury matters. Jordan was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2024 and joined the firm to work alongside the senior trial bench on serious workplace matters across Texas.
Jordan graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts, and then earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2024. She is admitted to practice in the State Bar of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Jordan’s commitment to worker-side employment law traces to her own upbringing. Jordan was raised by parents who run international staffing agencies, which gave her an early and direct sense of how employer practices — workplace policies, treatment of employees, hiring and termination decisions — have a powerful impact on the lives and wellbeing of the workers on the other side of those decisions. That perspective shaped Jordan’s belief that those in positions of authority should be held to the highest standard of the law, and that the most vulnerable individuals deserve the utmost protection.
